Self-Compassion

These are trying days for any American citizen who cares about people, democracy, and our country.

You may be angry, anxious, upset, frustrated, furious, sorrowful, fearful.

Or, all of the above.

It’s not at all selfish to strengthen your self-compassion skills at any time, and certainly not during difficult times such as these.

The more compassionate you can be with yourself, the more skilled you become in self-forgiveness and self-care, the better you’ll be able to deal with chaos and hate when it comes your way.
